This is a form (see below) to share your experiences with EWB Canada or any other organizations in the sector. While we are interested primarily in sexual harassment as we feel it is a pervasive and underreported issue, we are also interested in other abuses of power and challenging experiences.

Please feel free to share any experiences that you experienced or witnessed, for example: racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, colonial/ white saviour attitudes, bullying, intimidation, exclusion, aggression, coercion, inappropriate jokes, harmful power dynamics, fraud, bribery, corruption, mismanagement, silencing tactics or use of NDAs, threatening whistleblowers with job loss or lawsuits, pay inequity, lack of diversity and inclusion, mental health/ stress/ burnout, and health and safety issues.

Please also report any human rights violations and exploitation of communities or individuals where the organization operates.

We have seen that whistleblowers and those raising critiques are often the subject of retaliation or “institutional DARVO”, and we’d like to collect information on that as well.

Quotes from your responses will not be published or shared without explicit permission (see below to indicate). As a general rule only broad themes from these stories will be shared unless you have agreed to be quoted. For your protection, we ask that you do not name any specific people in your story.

Note: All of the questions on this form are completely optional. Please fill out as much or as little as you would like, and skip those that aren’t applicable. This form does not collect any identifying information unless you provide it. If you don’t feel comfortable sharing on the form, feel free to contact us directly.

Thank you to everyone who takes the time and energy to fill out this form – we know it is not easy. If you would like some support and resources, check out our resources page.

If you would like to share your experience in a different format or be interviewed for our upcoming Failure Report, please get in touch at (you do not have to share your story in the email!) and we can discuss anonymity and safety.

What can I do next?
