The UManitoba Chapter of Engineers Without Borders Canada will be joining the chapters of Alberta, Concordia, ETS, McMaster, Queen’s, and McGill, among others, in their call for systems change within Engineers Without Borders Canada itself. We have decided not to participate in activities organized by National Office or send them any funds until we feel confident that the demands being made by our chapter members and leaders have been met. Thus far, the reactions and changes made by National Office and the Board of Directors have not been sufficient.

We are sharing the recent post by the EWB Queen’s Chapter [see below] to raise awareness about this issue, showcase that there is unity among our chapter members, and because they have included a comprehensive list of the 7 demands being made.
